<p>Mixed media (canvas, ink, tarp, twine, cardboard, foam, nylon webbing, notebook, pencil + sharpener, clothespin), 22” x 22” and 16” x 16”</p>
<p>This interactive sculpture, created for the exhibition Fieldwork, invites viewers to perform an embodied act of attentiveness to trees. Through a simple set of instructions, viewers are engaged and invited to record their experiences and “imaginings” while listening to trees. Lake Country Art Gallery, Lake Country BC. Made with support from the BC Arts Council. </p>

<p><em>SiteFactory: Mobile Art Platform</em> is an artist-run gallery in a converted school bus created by Leah Weinstein, who founded, curated and operated the bus-as-gallery. The mandate of <em>SiteFactory</em> is to bring art exhibitions and performances to unconventional sites throughout Vancouver, exploring a range of site-specific locations through this roaming venue.</p>
<p>Between June 2016- November 2018, <em>SiteFactory</em> hosted 13 artist projects, ranging from sculpture exhibitions to sound performances and social practice installations.</p>

<p>MOBILE BARNACLE CITY LIVE/WORK STUDIO was a site-specific installation created in the SiteFactory bus by Vancouver Interdisciplinary artist Laiwan, as part of Emily Carr University&#8217;s LivingLabs Ten Different Things project series.</p>
<p>Invited artists included T&#8217;uy&#8217;t&#8217;tanat Cease Wyss and Anne Riley. Mobile Barnacle City took place at three locations in the vicinity of Keefer and Columbia Streets in Chinatown from April 15th- 29th, 2018.</p>
